Residents of Cherokee County have recently reported that loud computers running 24/7 are necessary for cryptocurrency mining. This can be a disaster for local residents and has also affected neighboring areas.
In addition to Buncombe County, other counties such as Haywood, Macon, and Jackson are also taking action to ban or restrict cryptocurrency mining.
The meeting on this issue will start at 5 pm.
