Bitcoin Soars to $28,380: 72% Increase Since January 1st

Bitcoin, the most well-known and largest cryptocurrency in the world, experienced a 5.19% increase to reach $28,380 at 20:01 GMT on Sunday, resulting in a $1,400 rise from its previous closing value.

The value of Bitcoin has increased by 72% since hitting a low of $16,496 on January 1st of this year.

Ether, which is linked to the Ethereum blockchain network, also saw a rise of 3.58% on Sunday, reaching $1,827.2 and adding $63.1 to its previous close.
